I just ran Google Page Speed on my site after enabling the social media items. It reports that the pinit6.png image needs to be compressed.

I compressed it with optipng, which reduced the size by about 600 bytes, but Google still things that it can be reduced another 800 bytes.

This isn't the biggest thing by a long shot, but it is probably an easy thing to change in your build process.

Hi

You're totally right in that! That's a total oversight. I ran it through ImageRecycle and it went from 3.88KB to 1.10KB. Is that the size you've obtained?

Thanks for the head up.

Using optipng I got 3812; Google Speedtest was expecting something in the 2400 range. On all other images optipng has kept Google Speedtest quiet. I'll have to look at ImageRecycle and some other tools...3.88 to 1.10KB is pretty amazing.

Thanks for the quick response.
