Dear Support,
I'd like to know if it is better to set the web site with anti-flood standard options or
it is better activate "anti-fllod" so:
- Activate anti-flood: yes
- Only if POST data (forms): yes
- Anti-flood control: 100
- Max number of requests: 500

My Joomla teacher told me that these "Anti-flood control: 100" and "Max number of requests: 500" are the correct values to avoid that the web site go off line with a Screaming Frog checks in loop.
Let me know which is the best configuration.
Thank you very much.
Kind regards
Andrew

Hi

I'd say that theses settings are too wide and are pretty much equivalent to not doing any filtering.

If you have a problem with specific tools such as sitemap makers or screaming frogs, it's probably better to disable anti-flooding check when using them, and enabling checks again when you're done with them.

I ask for you which are the best settings for anti-flood?

Thanks

hi

That depends very much on your site, why not leave the defaults (10/10) and see how it goes. IF not enough, you can increase the value step by step.
