I have tried two different sitemap generators -OSMaps and JMapPro and neither of them work. I have used them successfully on other sites and I suspect that sh404SEO because it deals with URLs is the reason why they do not work.

For example, this is the link to a sitemap for a site that has only a few pages and doesn't need sh404SEO

http://www.joomlajems.com/component/osmap/?view=xml&id=1 - This link works and can be uploaded to Google Search.

This link is to a medium-sized site that uses sh404SEO and it does not work.

http://www.evolutionforthehumanities.com/component/osmap/?view=xml&id=1 - does not work and points to a 404 page

My client wants to upload the sitemap.xml file to Google search. Can you give me a method that will work or perhaps know of a sitemap generator that will work with sh404SEO ?

Thank you.

Hi

http://www.evolutionforthehumanities.com/component/osmap/?view=xml&id=1 - does not work and points to a 404 page
Yep, it's unlikely this is the correct link to the sitemap. Why are you using this link? is component/osmap found in the list of the available URL in the URL manager?

Is the link available somewhere on your site? (if not, how is sh404SEF supposed to know this is a sitemap link?)

There are many, many users of those extensions and sh404SEF, there is no compatibilty issue here.

However, you are on public forum, where we can only reply to pre-sale questions.

We provide support to our subscribers through our helpdesk. Please open a ticket, and provide answers to the questions outlined above,

Thanks and regards
