We're pleased to announce the release of 4AI version 4.0.0. This is a feature with Joomla 5 compatibility.

Here are the highlights:

  • Added image creation and interactive modification. Images can be saved to disk and inserted into editor
  • Use style instead of CSS class for the frontend icon as some YooTheme template have a CSS preventing the 4AI icon to be visible
  • Reworked connection with Joomla editor to avoid warnings on code deprecated (removed in Joomla 6!) and improve Copy from editor function when multiple editors are on a page, especially on Joomla 3 and 4
  • Added button to copy full path of generated image
  • OpenAI organization header not properly set

Hello,

We're pleased to announce the release of 4SEO version 5.3.0.This is a maintenance release fixing a couple of bugs.

Here are the highlights:

  • 4SEO frontend icon may not be visible on some YooTheme template, added some styles
  • Built-in shortcodes are now also replaced in all structured data text fields
  • Protect against SEF plugin having option custom domain option filled-in, may cause pages to be considered non-canonical
  • Avoid encoding & signs found in invalid URLs when adding them to sitemaps
  • Posisble PHP deprecation warning on recent PHP versions when viewing the sitemap (creation of dynamic property)
  • Content replacement does not happen if Hn titles protection option is enabled and there are multiple identical Hn titles on the page
  • When redirecting a non-SEF URL to its SEF equivalent, if the target is also a non-SEF for some reason, 4SEO should not redirect at all
  • Meta description is encoded once too many, causing & sign to be output as &
  • Don't try to submit just generated sitemap to Google if not connected to Search Console

We're pleased to announce the release of 4SEF version 2.2.0. This is a maintenance release with several improvements and bug fixes.

Here are the highlights:

  • Removed throwing an error when trying to process invalid non-sef that miss an option value. Now using fallback plugin instead of logging an error
  • Added yet another workaround for Virtuemart not yet using the Joomla 3 (!) API to read parsed request variables
  • Joomla URL suffix option is not complied with when a component is set to Bypass
  • Possible PHP warning on some Virtuemart SEF URLs creation when no Itemid (menu item) is provided in the source non-SEF URL
  • Text color for red background warnings lacks contrast on small text
  • On newer Virtuemart versions, paginated URLs may content page number twice
  • Any SEF URL ending with the word print is considered a print version of the page
