Hello,

We're pleased to announce the release of 4SEF version 1.3.0 - Beta. This is a pre-version, test-only of the final upcoming release of 4SEF!

IMPORTANT: 4SEF is still in beta testing phase. This means it's in the final stages of testing and should be used only with caution as some bugs may happen when used in the real world. Beta testing is meant to identify these issues that cannot be discovered during develoment and internal testing.

We recommend using it on test copies of your website only. If you decide to test on your real website, make sure you have a backup on hand so that you can restore things to their previous state in case something goes wrong.

Here are the highlights:

  • Added full Danish translation by Ronny Buelund
  • Under some circumstances, Joomla may find a different menu item to use with a URL if 4SEF is in use or not (thanks FVanDerMeer)
  • Typos in French translation (thanks GFCom)
  • Do not enforce a language when none is present in the non-sef URL
  • Possible PHP warning or error on some Virtuemart pages
  • User account reset and remind options use Joomla SEF URLs

Please see this page for a full changelog. This release is immediately available both from the download area and using the one-click Joomla! updater of your web site.

Best regards

Hello,

We're pleased to announce the release of 4SEO version 4.3.0. This is a maintenance release with some changes and bug fixes:

Here are the highlights:

  • Added a language filter on the Pages page
  • Rewrote rules management system, no more limits in the global number of rules
  • Better display of admin page if an error occurs (system plugin is disabled for instance)
  • Added a warning when trying to connect to the Google Search Console not using the website configured main address (typically, www vs non-www mismatch)
  • Rules drag-n-drop re-ordering may not be available when going from a page with one row to another with multiple rows. Conversely, a fatal error may happen when trying to move a row when that row is the only one on a page
  • Some Google Search Console data is not retrieved when using a Domain type search console property

Please see this page for a full changelog. This release is immediately available both from the download area and using the one-click Joomla! updater of your web site.

Best regards

Hello,

We're pleased to announce the release of 4SEF version 1.2.4 - Beta.

  • Better display of admin page if an error occurs (system plugin is disabled for instance)
  • Added workaround for cases Joomla router does not remove non-sef variables from URI object, and they were re-appended to SEF URL (eg: /my-article?view=article&id=12&catid=34)
  • Under some circumstances, on Joomla 4, home page links may not be recognized as such

Please see this page for a full changelog. This release is immediately available both from the download area and using the one-click Joomla! updater of your web site.
