Hi

I have recorded a video please watch and help me to resolve the issue.

All these are SP Page builder well known bugs. Please make sure you use the absolute latest SPPB version and if not solved, go directly to SP Page Builder support for assistance.

Even its in beta shall i use in my live site?

No, beta versions are only for testing and should not be used on live site, unless your live site is something where you can accept to have occasional errors.

Always best to use on testing or development sites.

Hi Yannick,

Leave the SPPB, lets look to default joomla article and menu.
I have created one joomla article and pointed to menu. page is showing 404. Also i have created another menu login page url leads to 404.

What could be the reason. Please advise.

Regarding SPPB i am using latest version. I will check JoomShaper team.

Thank You
Arun

Hi

I have created one joomla article and pointed to menu. page is showing 404. Also i have created another menu login page url leads to 404.

What could be the reason. Please advise.

1 - Sh404SEF does not use menu at all to create links, so what you do with menu items does not matter in this process. We have already discussed this with you in the past, for instance on this ticket.

2 - For instance, I can see that for some reason you tried to load the URL

www.xxxx.com/sh404sef

and it is normal that this creates a 404 because this is not this article address. I can only guess but from your 1st screenshot, this article address should be:

www.xxxx.com/sh404sef-testing

or

www.xxxx.com/uncategorised/sh404sef-testing

depending on sh404SEF settings for including categories in URLs

3 - Even if you use the correct address, this URL needs to be created first to work. Here is how you should proceed:

- create your article

- create a menu item for it, or include a link to it (in non-sef form, eg index.php?option=com_conten& view=article&id=xxx. Use JCE editor for easy link creation for instance) in an article, or in a module or anywhere.

- Go to your site front end, the home page for instance, where you can see your link to this article. The URL will be created automatically by Joomla and sh404SEF.

- click on that link and you'll see your article.

Best regards
