Hi,

I can't give Administrator group access to sh404SEF.

You can see my current configuration on sh404SEF in attachment.

I tried to Enable access for both Manager and Administrator groups but the admin access is still locked even if "Enabled" is select in dropdown, and configuration saved.
And I can't figure out how to unlock it.

Thanks for your help.

Hi

Access really is a Joomla thing, sh404SEF is not doing anything here.

- What happened? what were you doing when this happened?

- Are you logged-in as a super admin?

Hi again,

On the Manager view, you have set "Manage configuration" to "hérité". That should be "Autorisé" I think. Else no descendant can access, right?

Hi Yannick,

I'm logged in with Super User and everything works fine.

By default, "Administrator" user group don't have access to sh404SEF.
And I want simply give sh404SEF access to this user group.

By looking to your latest comment, and after some changes, I am able to give access to Administrator group.
I just need to give "Manage configuration" access to "Manager" group and it unlock all access for child Group.
It's a bit tricky, I never saw this kind of lock ^^

Since this change, I am able to manage access normally for "Manager" and "Administrator" groups

Thank you !

Hi

Yes, permissions are inherited, if a higher level has no access, sub-groups cannot have access either.

Glad it's sorted out! By the way, are you aware of this talk I'm giving tomorrow? https://www.facebook.com/events/905474666867394
