Advisory: There was a problem 2 days ago with your extension sh404SEF, that prevents Docman from installing, or upgrading and they said I should notify you of this issue for possible correction or adjustment.

Problem:
Installation hangs on the (blue) joomlatools framework bar 1/2 way.

Solution:
Joomlatools Staff said:

"It seems that the latest version of sh404SEF is conflicting with the update process. If you turn sh404SEF off the updates works normally and then you can turn it on again afterwards. We are looking close into this issue as other customers have reported the same problem. You might want to inform the developer of sh404SEF about this to, something in the latest update has changed that causes this behavior."

Hi

Thanks for the report.  JoomlaTools uses a framework (Koowa) that dives deep into Joomla and has a tendency to make things a bit complicated. I'm not even able to debug it really, even though it's caused a few issues in the past.

What you can do on the sh404SEF is make sure that the following settings are set to their default values:

- under "Advanced", 301 redirect from non-sef to SEF should be Disabled

- under "Advanced" 301 redirect from Joomla SEF to sh404SEF should be disabled.

something in the latest update has changed that causes this behavior."

The last update is from early december, we have not heard anything special about it.

Aside from that, we'll wait and see what they find.

Best regards
