Hi

Can you describe the actual problem? which URL are you using to load the sitemap and what happens?

Hi again,

Also, make sure you've read the FAQ on sh404SEF and OSMap here. OSMap does not provide the correct link to the sitemap in the admin, so if you're trying to use that, it cannot work.

Hello.

Default url OSMAP gives me is: https://www.xxxx.fi/component/osmap/?view=xml&id=2&format=xml --> ERROR

The URL in your documentation: https://www.xxxx.fi/index.php?option=com_osmap&view=xml&id=1&format=xml --> SAME ERROR

Hi

The URL in your documentation: https://www.xxxx.fi/index.php?option=com_osmap&view=xml&id=1&format=xml --> SAME ERROR

This example URL is for sitemap #1. From the URL provided by OSMap, https://www.xxxx.fi/component/osmap/?view=xml&id=2&format=xml, we can see you want to display sitemap #2, so the URL to use is:

/index.php?option=com_osmap&view=xml&id=2&format=xml

Now the error you get is actually not a 404, it's fatal error. Some extension on your site is failing here:

You need to find out which code is throwing this error. To have a more meaningful error message that includes the faulty code file name and line number, you should go to Joomla configuration and:

- set GZip to No (important)

- set Error reporting to Maximum

- Set Debug system to yes

Then try to reload that page at /index.php?option=com_osmap&view=xml&id=2&format=xml and you should have a more complete error message.

Hi

Ah yes, an analytics plugin should not run on an XML page, they can only run on HTML pages. Glad it's sorted out.

Note that you can use sh404SEF analytics feature to insert your Analytics snippets in your pages as a replacement!

Best regards
