Hello, I followed the instructions and how to redirect

https://www.xxxx.com/contact-us

to

https://www.xxxx.com/get-in-touch

I went to /get-in-touch and entered into the Alias tab the /contact url and saved it.
But when I go to https://www.xxxx.com/contact-us it does not redirect to https://www.xxxx.com/get-in-touch

Do you know why this is happening?

Thank you
Joseph

Hi

In the alias tab, you should enter contact instead of /contact, or else you will redirect to https://www.xxxx.com//get-in-touch.

That said, I can't tell you why it's not redirecting without actually looking at the admin.

One thing that seems odd when looking at your site is that sh404SEF seems disabled?

- there's none of the usual meta data from sh404SEF

- if I try to go to a non-existing page, https://www.xxxx.com/fjhksdgfjhsdgfjhsdgfsdfs, I get a PHP fatal error from the template error page instead of the proper sh404SEF error page.

Here is the login you can use:
u: xxxx
p: xxxx

I am not sure why you think SEF is not working because it seems to be doing excatly what it's supposet to do with the URL's.

I just noticed that I am not able to manually redirect any bad or old urls annd for some reason Google Anylytic doesn'e work.

I did try to put the in the contact-us alias just get-in-touch instead of /get-in-touch and SEF did not like that

If you can just figure out why it I cannot get the bad URL contact-us to redirect to the good URL get-in-touch, and the Google Analytic not working that would be great.

Thank you
Joseph

Hi

In the alias tab, you should enter contact instead of /contact,

That was it, the leading slash. Redirects are taken from the main domain URL so they don't have a leading slash

As for Analytics, the error message says: "(Google token exchange: error status code :400)". While you're marked as "Authorized", I suspect you did not renew the authorization recently. Google made some changes to their authorization method end of last year, that requires you to "Renew authorization".

Were you able to view reports at some point, or did it never worked?

Yes, it worked in the begining but stopped working last year. I will look into the how I go about renewing the authorization.

I found out how to renew the Google Anylytic authorization

Thank you for your help with this!
