Hi, I've installed opencart in a subfolder of my Joomla installation

/buy

However when a 404 occurs https://www.xxxx.co.uk/buy/test.html (which isn't there) - the 404 is shown from my other site xxxx.co.uk generated by sh404sef

How do I stop sh404 from doing any form of 404 or url rewriting for this subfolder.

Joomla or sh404SEF do not do any URL rewriting. Your web server is. You have to update your .htaccess file so that the /buy folder is not sent to Joomla, it needs to be excluded from your web server URL rewriting options (again, in the .htaccess file).

I changed the .htaccess rewritebase from / to /buy

This fixed the issue
