Hi,

as I have to make bigger changes on existing URLs I just would like to have confirmed: When I make changes in database table sh404sef_metas the changes will be applicated to my urls?

Thx, Lena

Hi

Some meta data are read from that table in the database so yes, if you change something there, it will be applied to your pages.

However it is rather difficult to do that because of Joomlas duplicates. URLs in the sh404sef_metas table are the non-sef ones, so be sure to know what you're doing, only change the meta data values, not the URLs.

ok, I performed: UPDATE hon_sh404sef_metas SET metarobots = 'NO INDEX, NO FOLLOW'

In database it works perfectly. But it's not shown in backend when I click the single urls.

Hi

So first, it's "noindex, nofollow". "no index, no follow" will have not effect.

Can't say why you can't see them. Things to check are:

- "SEO management" is enabled

- Of course all Joomla and otherwise caches have been cleared.

- Under Joomla global configuration, you have selected "index, follow". If you selected something else, we respect that. Of course, setting noindex, nofollow there is also an easy option.

Best regards
