Hello,
I have a problem with a sitemap.xml that I put on my ftp at the root. I have a 404 error when I want to access it. Indeed sh404 blocks access to this url. How to get around this problem. Thank you all.

Hi
Indeed sh404 blocks access to this url.
sh404SEF does not block or touch in anyway actual files that you upload with FTP. This is not technically possible. sh404SEF is inside Joomla, it cannot alter your webserver file system.
1 - Set "URL optimization" to "No" and test if the same happens
2 - Make sure your .htaccess file is configured to render real files instead of sending them to Joomla - you should use the Joomla standard .htaccess file in case of doubt.

Effectively ! I thought it was from SH404sef but I put an exclusion on the sitemap.xml on the AdminTools component for modifying the .htacces and it works. Thank you for your reply!
Hi
Yes, it's easy to shoot oneself in the foot with tools like AdminTools. Glad it's sorted out! Closing this ticket now, feel free to open a new one as needed. If you do so, please mention this ticket number in the new one.
If you created any superadmin account for us, be sure to delete or block it now to avoid unnecessary risk in the future.
