Hi, I just upgraded to a lastest version of sh404SEF after be your client long time ago.

After upgraded I cannot figure out how to remove index.php and itemid of K2 content's URLs

from...
.com/index.php/item/949-quarantine-at-home-activities

to..
.com/city-information/nice-living/quarantine-at-home-activities

FYI. city-information/nice-living  are my K2 categories aliases

Thank you

Hi

/item/949-quarantine-at-home-activities

This kind of URLs are those produced by K2 by default. It used to be that K2 has native, built-in support for sh404SEF but since K2 version 2.7 they moved that out to a separate plugin so I'm guessing you do not have that plugin installed. Please get in touch with K2 to get the sh404SEF plugin.

After installing it, you will need to delete the "bad" URLs so that new ones can be created using their plugin. Note also that K2 has its own SEF URL settings (which category to include, etc) so you may want to review those settings as well.

Best regards
