1 - Make sure you're using the latest version of sh404SEF, that must be 4.20.2
2 - Is K2 set to "Use Joomla router" under "By component"? or are all settings default
3 - The error is happening because of a javascript error, K2 is not calling the correct URL:
Does the problem occur with a default Joomla template such as protostar?

(it works when sh404SEF is disabled).That does not mean sh404SEF is causing the problem. Those error are very common and due to incorrect links in extensions javascript
