#6973 – h1 and h2 tags

In your component there is a place where I can add h1 (title) and description manually.

h1 and title are not at all the same thing. In sh404SEF, you can set (among other thing) the page title and the meta description. H1 tags are added inside your content, not in sh404SEF. Usually your template is responsible for properly using h1, h2, etc

As I was advised I need to make h1 tags and description.

This is not very good advice:

- meta description is not used for ranking so it will not help you at all in that case
- adding h1 tag is fine but it will bring almost no improvement if your results are not showing at all. It's a very little thing that you can do to improve your results when the results are good and you want to be at the top. In any case, this is more a template thing

We are not SEO specialist but I took a quick look at one sample page, https://xxxx.uz/homiladorlikda-analizlar/homiladorlik-davrida-vrach-qabulida-bo-lish-va-analiz-topshirish-muddatlari, and I can already tell you there's something totally obvious to explain why you are completely omitted from Google results: your page is just a very large ad.

You have a very large set of ads at the top and then your article and then more large ads.

Such pages have zero value for Google and they will most likely never show them in results, whatever you do. You must have much, much less ads, and very importantly, they must not be at the top, they must not be the first thing people see. If you look at the screenshot above, for a new visitor, your site has no content, it's just an ad. You have to scroll down to discover a little bit of content.

I would say you have to solve your ads problem first. And then hire an SEO specialist to assist you in improving your results.

And I read that SEF404 have some setting that can help to make h1, h2 and descriptions automatikally if we will set up.

sh404SEF will not do anything about H1 tags. This is about content and is normally handled by your template, which is in charge of outputting your content in the correct way. You can certainly make template overrides for that but it's going to be a lot of difficult work and it won't help you rank.

As for meta description, again, it won't help you rank at all. It can only help you get a better "click rate" from search results, but it won't help you get into the search results.
Looking at the same page, here is the description you have today:



I cannot understand the language but you certainly have a description so you are the judge if this is a good one or not.

sh404SEF has a feature where it will automatically create a meta description if you have not created one either in the article parameters in Joomla or inside of sh404SEF itself. This is enabled by default so the description we see on the screenshot above has probably been created by sh404SEF already.



The automatic description is never as good as what a human being can do and so if you really, really want to spend time on writing description manually, you can:

- write the under the "Publishing" tab of Joomla article edit page
- in sh404SEF SEF URL Manager: search for a URL, click on it and add the description (documentation is here)

This is the main problem. The description that you showed is the same for almast all articles. Only that I had changed manually at Joomla article setting they have another description.

Ah I understand. This is a common problem with Joomla. It happens because you have entered a description in Joomla global configuration (the ".. description of my site..").

When you do that, Joomla puts it automatically in all pages that do not have a custome description (and that is very, very bad).

The fix is simple: delete that global description in Joomla global configuration. Then sh404SEF should start to create automatic description for all pages where you did not add one manually.

h1 is not important in your case and not something sh404SEF can help you with. Like I said, this is part of your content and it's displayed by your template, we cannot have any effect on that.

Exactly what it says: if there are several H1 on a page, sh404SEF can turn them all into h2 instead. It's also not a very useful feature and it will be removed. Google and others said some times ago they are ok with multiple H1 so there is no need to remove them or change them into h2 any more.
