Hi guys,

When sh404SEF is enabled, the XML sitemap generated by OSMap plugin is not accessible. The link is:

https://www.xxxx.online/component/osmap/?view=xml&id=1&format=xml

When I disable sh404SEF, it works as expected and I can access the link.

I Googled a bit and found this (refer link below) in the sh404SEF documentation for JSitemap and tried it for OSMap - still the same problem:

https://weeblr.com/documentation/products.sh404sef/4/extension-specific-instructions/jsitemap.html

I can't find anyhting else of use on Google or the FAQ.

Can you please assist?

Kind regards
Gert Botha

HI

The link is:

https://www.xxxx.online/component/osmap/?view=xml&id=1&format=xml
This is a well known bug in OSMAP; The link they provide is wrong. It should be:

https://www.xxxx.online/index.php?option=com_osmap&view=xml&id=1&format=xml

This link will always work. You can also create a custom URL for it, such as sitemap.xml for instance (use the "New" button on sh404SEF URL manager).

in the sh404SEF documentation for JSitemap and tried it for OSMap
As per the documentation, this information is only for older JSitemap versions, and does not apply any longer, JSItemap fixed their problem and they can now work with any SEF system.

OSMap has not done so and only provides a link that works with Joomla SEF.

I can't find anyhting else of use on Google or the FAQ.
Indeed we should have a dedicated page for OSMap as well.

Best regards
