The Robots meta tag is used to let search engines know how you want them to index - or not - your pages. You can learn more about it on [this documentation page] from Google for instance.

This specific line of code is meant for Google to be sure they display a small part of your pages ("snippet") in their search results instead of just the title. The other codes are to be sure they always use large images in search results as well as video preview - if you have videos inside your site.
