Hi,

I have an problem with double url link virtuemart category,

https://xxxx.com/lampu-sorot-led/lampu-sorot-led/lampu-floodlight-emergency-120w-led-detail

before install SH404SEF it should be https://xxxx.com/lampu-sorot-led/lampu-floodlight-emergency-120w-led-detail

where can I fix the issue?

1 - What are your settings for Virtuemart:

- under "Extensions" -> "Virtuemart"?
- Under "By component"

2 - What's the category structure for that product? does the category "lampu-sorot-led" has a parent category?

3 - What's your exact and full VM and sh404SEF versions?

#1 in SH404SEF

- under "Extensions" -> "Virtuemart"?

setting are:

URLs creation:
Insert shop name in URL -> No
Use menu items -> yes
Insert categories -> last one only

SEO:
Categories in title (products) -> none
Categories in title (categ.) -> top one only

#2, category "lampu-sorot-led" is top category

#3 SH404SEF installed version 4.17.0.3932, Joomla version ‎3.9.12, VirtueMart 3.6.2 10159

Please set this to no, delete the URL lampu-sorot-led/lampu-sorot-led/lampu-floodlight-emergency-120w-led-detail and all duplicates and visit your site again to check if the URL has been recreated as before.

colom 1
(use default handle) = do not override itemid
colom 2
use sh404sef plugin if available
colom 3
disable shURL

SEF URLs are stored in the database and stay there until you delete them. When you did this:

Like I said, new settings takes effect for URLs created after they've been changed.

Once a URL is created, it's stored in the database and does not change, even if you change settings about categories for instance. It's only when you delete an existing URL that sh404SEF will create it again. And then the new seetting is taken into account.

I have deleted and purged it

"Delete" delete one or a few URLs at a time. Purge deletes all URLs in one step.
