Hi,

I would like to know is sh404SEF works for galleries.

I am a professional photographer and more than 80% of the content of my website are images (.jpgs)

I aware that every image is a link and most of the time long URLs.

Please let me known.

Hi

sh404SEF or Joomla do not apply to real files URLs. They only transform the URLs of your Joomla site pages. So there are 2 cases basically:

1 - if your images URLs as created by your galleries are for real files, ie https://example.com/images/gallery1/cat-1/image1.jpg then Jooaml SEF or sh404SEF won't change that.
2 - If your images URLs are created by a gallery component and are not real files, ie http://example.com/index.php?option=com_somegallery&cat=1&view=image&id=1, then Joomla SEF or sh404SEF may be able to conver that.

However:

- 1 is much more likely than 2
- there's is strictly no point in doing that, it won't help.
