This should displays tab with contact info, map and contact form

it use to work fine and displayed the tabs with contact details, email form & map but now it only shows contact details - see screenshot example

I set it to "no" and now the tabs are back in article?

so for now it is fine- unless you made other settings else where?

Hi

So I did a fair bit of digging around and finally disabled sh404SEF to try compare what was happening with and without it. When sh404SEF was enabled, there was a javascript error happening. I do not have a screenshot of it but it was related to "sboost_assets".

I then temporarily disabled sh404SEF to try compare, and things where working. In the process, I cleared the Joomla cache and noticed that there was "sboost_assets" cached item - which therefore was cleared.

I then enabled back sh404SEF as part of my research and after a few minutes I noticed that the tabs were now working.

So I suspect the issue is that this component/plugin/ called "sboost_assets" manager of some kind needed to be reset in some way to adjust to the new URLs that you have with sh404SEF.
After clearing the Joomla cache, it seems ok.

At least for the tabs. The map is still not showing but that's a different issue: you need to enable billing as Google Maps requests are now paying:

Another note: at some point, I tried to switch from your site template to one of Joomla native template, protostar. This immediately triggered a 503 error. I changed back immediately but I suspect there's someting fishy about it.

Yes, this might well be it. AGain, just clearing the cache on that appears to solve the problem.

Ah, I see that you disable that setting. You may want to enable it back and make the joomla cache is cleaned and see how it goes.

It seems to give this error every time I switch on enable Javascript Compression even if I clear the cache -
also does funny layouts with header images the 3 in a row if I enable CSS Compression it place all 3 images underneath each other - in one colum
I also notice the cache setting 60min on advance template - that was I default setting ...

I have cause this to be in cache all the time I have disabled
System - Page Cache - since installing sh404sef
must i maybe enable it again?

I the past - I only notice the Jw_sig one _ i really have no idea what program uses the sboost_assets??

I have also notice the 503 error on some pages while checking then if I change url in sh404sef it goes away - it is as if it give a 5030error instead of 404 - I asked my hosting company and they said that there is there is quite a bite of internet connection problems in SA since last week - seems like some of the mayor networks or on and off...

I cannot really comment on your caching strategy and plugins, that's a whole new can of worm sh404SEF does not get involved in.

That plugin is a native Joomla plugin. It has not relation with what sh404SEF does or does not do, the 2 are completely independent.
This plugin caches entire pages and redisplay them entirely from the cache. Ifyou make any change to your pages, you will need to purge Joomla cache to see them appear.

The other features: ie javascript compression or Jw_sig or any other one, you would have to talk to their respective suppliers to get more detais. They usually do not cache the full page content but instead only the assets: javascript, css, sometimes images.
Generally speaking, caching is good as it makes your site faster, unfortunately it may have side effects which are highly dependent on your specific site design, organization, template, extensions, etc and that needs to be experimented and verified by you before finally allowing them to be permanently enabled.

If you have the issue don’t use compression in template parameters but use other extensions.

We suggest to try JCH Optimize for Joomla! https://www.jch-optimize.net/downloads.html

will this not interfere with sh404sef?

Usually not. Actually, none of what's described in this ticket has anything to do with sh404SEF. It was never involved at any time.
