Hello there,

I enabled SH404SEF to manipulate URLs of specific extension, but want to keep SEF Urls of all other components like they were on Joomla SEF. So, i went through Configuration >> General >> By component setting ; for all components i want to keep Joomla Sef setting, i selected "Use Joomla! router.php" and saved. But Urls are still differents.

Help please.

HI

1 - I would suggest that you do not "Use Joomla router" but instead keep "Use default handler" but then select "User router.php with menu item" in the second select drop down.

Enabling back the Joomla router causes issues most notably with 404 handling where the Joomla router will accept many URLs as valid while they are not. The settings I mention above should give you the same URL but without the trouble caused by the Joomla router.

But Urls are still differents.

Be sure to:

- delete the URLs for those components that were previously stored in the SEF URL manager. You probably want to use the Purge button to delete all URLs so that new ones can be built again.
- clear all your browser and importantly all Joomla caches.
