Hi,
I discover a minor bug on module Language select.
The link go on http://www.monsite.com/accueil in french version and  http://www.monsite.com/en/home in english.
I would like that in french this link go to http://www.monsite.com and in english to http://www.monsite.com/en
What's the setting to do this ?
Regards
Hervé

Hi

1 - Which multilingual system do you use? Falang or Joomla multilingual system?

2 - What's the full and real URL of the web site?

3 - Which template is in use?

4 - This:

http://www.monsite.com and in english to http://www.monsite.com/en

is exactly how it works. There is no settings or adjustments to be made in sh404SEF for that. The symptoms you show (having /accueil or /en/home) indicates that an incorrect Itemid is used in the original non-sef URLs used by the module. Did you set up a "Home" menu item for each language?

Best regards

Hi,
I'm not sure but I think it's the setting of the menus in each language that should not be good.
I give you an access to my website : https://www.xxxx.com/administrator/
Protect htacess :
Identifiant : xxxx
Password : xxxx

Backoffice access :
User : xxxx
Pwd : xxxx

It will be easier for you to check my settings I think.

Best regards
Hervé

Hi

Thanks for those credentials: the problem was coming from a slight difference between Joomla and sh404SEF. Your menu items and articles were correctly set but when using sh404SEF, home page menu items and home page articles should NOT be associated. Home menu items were not associated on your site, but the 2 articles from the home page (id 1 and id 21) were associated.

I removed the association between them, then purged sh404SEF SEF URLs, then purged the Joomla cache and the URLs are now correct and working.

Best regards
