Hello,

The default language of my site is French, I translated the articles of my blog to English, but I had a problem of assignments: I can't hide modules from my blog articles (See screenshot).
But when i disable the sh404 component, the aticles are displayed fine .

Here, have a look at this [xxxx]. It shows everything in details.

1 - Do you use Joomla multilingual system or something else, like Falang?

2 - Please select one single URL that shows the problem, then post here:

- the full SEF URL
- the full corresponding non-SEF URL as displayed in the SEF URL manager
- are there some duplicates listed for this SEF URL? if so, which ones.

Modules are hidden/shown by Joomla based on the menu item in the URL. Most likely you have duplicates and the "right" menu item, the one you hide modules on is not the current main one (see also documentation on this page about this).

Yes theres one duplicates listed for this SEF URL: index.php?option=com_content&Itemid=648&catid=16&id=211&lang=en&view=article

As you can see there, the Itemid (ie the menu item) is different on those 2 duplicates: 281 is used and the duplicate uses menu item 648

So you should probably select the duplicate with menu item 648 as the "Main" URL (per the documentation I linked to above),assuming menu item 648 is the desired menu item.

Problem fixed by purging URLs :)

but there is only one problematic link:

This link display all the module of the home page
But if i disable the sh404 component, this link displayed fine .

That's expected, this is a link to the home page, the English homepage, /en). There's something wrong in the way this link is set in your original content.
