Hi,
Today I bought sh404SEF, downloaded and installed - without errors, but when i click " sh404SEF Components" on the installation finish screen, I get the msg: An error has occurred. 404 Component not found, and there is no sh404SEF in the components menu, pliz help.

Do you mean that you click "sh404SEF" in the "Components" menu in Joomla admin?

Hi again

As you have not replied yet and the day has long gone here, I'm going to assume this is what you did and reply to that.

If the menu item for sh404SEF in the Components menu is there but it goes to a 404 error then that means Joomla did not install the component properly and some parts are missing.

What you can do from there:

1 - Which exact and full Joomla, PHP and MYSQL versions are you running?
2 - Did you ever install sh404SEF in the past, even if several years ago?
3 - Go to Joomla configuration and set "Error reporting" to "maximum", then set "Gzip" to "No"
4 - Download a new copy of the program and install again over the current one.

If you install again maybe this time it will work or you might see an error message. Be sure to note the full error message and report it here.

Only error is : "Deprecated: Methods with the same name as their class will not be constructors in a future version of PHP; plgContentJw_sigpro has a deprecated constructor in /users/kileratb/home/petbase/plugins/content/jw_sigpro/jw_sigpro.php on line 19" but I don't think this is a problem.

I didn't install sh404SEF in the past, and the website is quiet new.

Joomla: 3.9.5
PHP: 7.0
MySQL: libmysql - 5.5.61

That's coming from another extension,not sh404SEF.

Have you performed the steps outlined above and can you please reply to the questions?

Hi

If sh404SEF has not properly been installed by Joomla, usually because of incorrect file permissions on the host, but also as in your case when the Joomla menu table is broken, there's not much we can do as these problems are not happening because or inside of sh404SEF but just in Joomla.

I can have a quick look at the admin and see if there are obvious problems with Joomla. However the credentials you provided do not work:

Sorry, but i don't catch this last screenshot? Could you explain?
ps. I've checked sh404SEF on another page, on same serwer etc. but joomla 2.5, and extension works fine, so probably you're right that this is a problem by joomla not extension site...
I checked/fix permissions by Admin Tools Core 5.3.2 but it didn't affect on sh404SEF.

Could you explain sentence: "Joomla menu table is broken" or what can I do with this?

No problem. Actually this is why I asked about a previous installation of sh404SEF because a component does no"unpublish" itself. Someone has to unpublish it after installation for this to happen. However if you had sh404SEF even several years ago and the component was unpublished, then this would have stuck in the database after you install it back.
