Can the sh404SEF add a LinkedIn social share icon on my joomla blog. I want the icons to appear on each blog post. The blog is joomla core. Thanks

You should then configure the sh404SEFcore - Social buttons plugin. You'll find it under in Joomla Extensions -> Plugins then search for social until you find the sh404SEF social plugin.
You have multiple settings there to let you select which icons to display and select article categories for instance. Full documentation ison this page.
