Hello,

I face following problems all the time since I have SH404SEF

1. I create new page with component SH404SEF
2. Page is not visible - it is unknown by SH404SEF - it is in menu which is not visible, therefore I have special module which is visible everywhere
3. I get error if I enter SEF new page www.xxxx.sk/hra which has working raw url https://www.xxxx.sk/index.php?option=com_sppagebuilder&view=page&id=32
4. www.xxxx.sk/hra is not visible in 404 or SEF urls

So what should I do next? Purge 222 000 URLS? I do not like this as those could be indexed....

Hi

1 - Why would you purge URLs? no reason to do that. That's unrelated to your issue.

2 -

www.xxxx.sk/hra is not visible in 404 or SEF urls

Which means it was never displayed. For any single visitor.

Joomla asks sh404SEF to create and stores SEF URL when that URL is displayed on a page. The first time that URL is displayed on a page.

If you have a module where this link is available in the non-sef form (ie: index.php?option=com_sppagebuilder&view=page&id=32 and NOT /hra of course) then when someone view this module, the SEF URL will be created and made available.

So:

3 - Do you have a module where you have created the link: index.php?option=com_sppagebuilder&view=page&id=32 without a leading / and without the domain name?
4 - Have you logged in to the front end so that this special module is displayed at leas one and the URL is created and visible in the SEF URL manager?

Hello,

I had everything set as recommended. However I have used same menu item which was before associated with different page and apparently created some strange issues.
Menu item in joomla was still using old URL and not the new one. After delete of old menu item and creation of new - everything works.

A URL is in the database as long as you do not delete it. If you change something in Joomla, for instance an article title, that does NOT change the URL in sh404SEF - and rightly so, as URL should basically never change.

In the case of menu items, it's a bit different and I can't comment on why Joomla would be using the old URL though.
