hello,

i am not an english native speaker, so sorry for my expression

i have made my website with joomla 1.5 , 2.5 and 3.9 .

i don t look after with sh404sef since 2012...but the number of URL have grown

1-i have a problem : i cannot purge totalURL , i f i try i have an error 500, i think it is because it is too important (944 K URL)

and so i did not know i can purge it

my website is not so large, i think it is because, i have nerver purge since 2012 :(

2- i used sh404sef with page 404 error with bad karma (but i think that there was too many URL, my webserver could not run and search for the proposition)

so i choose 404page normal joomla but url with sh404 appear...how i can delete it ?

The error on your screenshot is NOT coming from sh404SEF. It's coming from Joomla Redirect plugin:

You should disable the Joomla redirect plugin if this error happens on 404 pages.

1 - That's a huge number of URLs indeed and one of the reasons you should keep all your software up to dat e, all the time.

Things you can do:

1 - First purge the 404 URLs by going to the 404 URLs manager and use the Purge 404 button. This will remove about 20000 records already
2 - Go to sh404SEF configuration -> Advanced and set Slow server to Yes. Then save configuration.
3 - Go to SEF URL manager and try to purge URLs.

If you still get a 500 error, then the only thing you can do is clear the database table directly from MYSQL, ie using PHP MyAdmin or similar. The table to clear is: xxx_sh404sef_urls.
Important: be sure that you disable URL disk cache (under sh404SEF configuration -> Advanced) before your clear the database table.

i used to keep update sh404sef (see my paiement) but i use ONLY 404 internal to correct my mistake, when i have time to spend.
but in fact with years , i do not have enough time...(my website with joomla born in 2012)

for 3 : i still get an error 500, i can go to phpmyadmin, but can you tell me what is the correct sql to insert to the database ?

There's no SQL to do, you should use the PHPMyadmin or equivalent on your control panel to Purge or Empty the xxx_sh404sef_urls database table.
