 Hi,
I have got an issue on using sh404sef when I create a new article since it seems to include also the article ID within the URL. I have checked that all the setting are as they should together with my webmaster, but we could not figure out what configuration has been mislead.

Please let me know how to solve the issue.

Not with default settings, at least not if we are talking about Joomla articles.
Please be sure to always include real and full links to your question, it makes things much simpler.

The setting for that is in Extensions -> Joomla



Other things you might have changed from default values and could result in this are:

- having set "Com_content" to "Use Joomla router" instead of "Use default handler" under By component
- having set "Com_content" to "Use Joomla router.php" or "Use router.php with menu item" instead of "Use sh404SEF plugin if available" under By component
