EasyBlog categories (http://xxxx.com/biznes-resheniia) on the site varies for some reason and therefore not showing the results (for example http://xxxx.com/easyblog/kategorii/2014-11-09-22-35-39 shows the blank page) while others shown correctly (like http://xxxx.com/bukhuchet-i-finansy/kategorii/2014-11-09-00-13-36).

Seems like in certain instances name of the category is overwritten by easyblog. How to fix this?

Hi

sh404SEF does not have any speciific support for EasyBlog, which creates all its URLs all by itself, using an sh404SEF-specific plugin.

First, I would suggest you:

- purge all URLs in sh404SEF
- clear all Joomla cache and page cache you may be using

Then navigate again to Easyblog and check the URLs.

Seems like in certain instances name of the category is overwritten by easyblog. How to fix this?
Second, talk to EasyBlog and ask why they would do that.

Best regards

I did the purge and clean the cache but it did not help.

Here is the current set up of EasyBlog SEO setup. Could you please advice if it should be adjusted to solve the issue.

Hi

Could you please advice if it should be adjusted to solve the issue.
I can't, this is something you'd have to ask the EasyBlog people.

1 - What is the non-sef URL recorded in sh404SEF database for "easyblog/kategorii/2014-11-09-22-35-39"?

2 - sh404SEF works very, very simply: we record the URLs provided by extensions into our database. So if EasyBlog is displaying a URL such as: http://xxxx.com/easyblog/kategorii/2014-11-09-22-35-39, then you should ask EasyBlog why.

3 - Why do you have URLs with "2014-11-09-22-35-39" in them? you should change the alias of the categories to avoid that I would think.

Best regards

Would re-writing alias manually from 2014-11-09-22-35-39 to ( for example, business-analitika) help?

Hi

Would re-writing alias manually from 2014-11-09-22-35-39 to ( for example, business-analitika) help?
That was just a passing remark. It's always better to have a real alias, business-analitika instead of 2014-11-09-22-35-39 which does not mean anything. But it's not really important for SEO so I would not spend time on fixing the existing items, maybe you only want to do that for future items you add.

Best regards

Updated EasyBlog to the latest version and it solved the issue.
