Hi,
How can I manage meta description and titles?
Right now I see all is empty but lots are already set with right data.
Using joomla 3.8.4 and virtuemart 3.2.12

I don't want to start over just add missing or change duplicates.

Thanks.

Hi

Best is either use sh404SEF meta feature, or use Joomla I think. Anything you enter in sh404SEF will override anything you enter in Joomla, but indeed the 2 are not connected, ie we do not pull the Joomla meta into our database. The reason is simple: we attach meta to URLs, while Joomla attach them to either items or menu items.

If you already entered many meta data directly inside of Joomla, then I would advise to continue doing so, unless you care to transfer descriptions manually. Or if you start afresh, then use sh404SEF.

Hi

But how can I see and manage title and description for my site then?
Not sure I understand the question here? You can control and see them in sh404SEF SEF URL manager and "Title and metas" manager.

So you can everything from these pages, but you said you already have some meta data in Joomla?

Are those meta data in Joomla the automatic ones? or did you mean that you entered some manually customized meta data?

Using sh404SEF for page title and meta only makes sense if you want to manually customize title and meta. If not, then Joomla (and Virtumart) already produce some meta data.

I have added many titles and meta myself but lots of products (virtuemart) are added and pages are modified.
Right now if I open title and metas, all are empty, so there's no way to organize these.

Absolutely. That's what I explained above?
