I have this issue where on broken links, instead of going to the "Page not found" it goes to Error:0. You can see it here
https://www.xxxx.co.uk/malaysia/pet-taxi/kuala-lumpur/kl/kl-sel-area-angelle-pet-s-taxi-kl-and-selangor

What causes it to be such and how do i go to page not found. Some URLs are like that and some URLs are properly caught by sh404.

Hi

What causes it to be such and how do i go to page not found
This is caused by your template and is a bug in it.

Most likely, this is happening on some of your URLs because you have:

- enabled "Use Joomla router" on at least one of your extensions under the "By component" tab of sh404SEF configuration
- enabled "301 redirect from Joomla SEF to sh404SEF" under the "Advanced" tab of sh404SEF configuration.

In such cases, the Joomla router is used, and your template is intercepting the 404 request and causing an error. It can also be a plugin, but that's less common and what I see on the screen looks like a template display.

Hi

Is there anything you can advice that i can route such errors back to homepage?
You should never do that, redirect 404 to home page, this is very bad for SEO purpose. Just do not do that.

- enabled "301 redirect from Joomla SEF to sh404SEF" under the "Advanced" tab of sh404SEF configuration.
As per the name, it redirects automatically SEF URLs that Joomla creates to URLs that sh404SEF creates. This is useful when you install sh404SEF on a site that's already indexed by search engines.
