 Hi,
can sh404sef remove virtuemart from the URL? I used ARTIO and there it was.

I have the address: domain.com/virtuemart/category/product

I want the address: domain.com/category/product

Thanks. Petr.

Hi

Yes, sh404SEF has good support for Virtuemart and very clean URLs.

Hi,
I tried to set it, but I did not. How do I set it to remove the word virtuemart from the URL?

Hi

Could you please provide us with superadmin credentials to your website. You can create a temporary account, and delete it afterward, but it must have superuser level.

Thanks and regards

Hi

The links to products seems to all work fine: http://xxxx.cz/sady-na-gelove-nehty/sada-na-gelove-nehty-profi

The links in the menus are the categories links. They include the "Virtuemart" part because they are linked to the "hidden" menu item you created for Virtuemart, and that's what Virtuemart does for those links. Internally, we use the VM router to build URLs, for performance reasons.
As such, and for categories link, we use the same URls as Virtuemart basically.

Hi,
so there is nothing left for me to create a new menu in the hidden menu for each category of virtuemart. ARTIO created it on its own and was no worry.

Hi

We definitely won't create any menu item automatically on our user's websites, but yes, that should solve the issue for you.
