I get this error on my joomla website and it will not load any modules
Warning: Unexpected character in input: ' in /home/almejose12/public_html/components/com_sh404sef/cache/shCacheContent.8f8c15b963de3b6364ebcde20f5b70c2.php on line 4056
The only way I can fix it is to comment out line issued on the warning notice. Why is the plugin creating this error and how can I avoid having to manually fix this in the future?

It is not. This errors happens sometimes when the server running the site cannot cope with the write rate required to write URL information to the optional "URL disk cache" sh404SEF uses if you enable that option under the "Advanced" tab of its configuration (this feature is disabled by default). In such circumstances, the fix is simply to disable the feature.
