Hello,
We have developed a site as part of a consulting group, and would like to direct certain 404 requests to an external site (one of the other sites in the group). I am unable to save the redirection for any 404 when I enter a URL outside of the site that I am currently working on. How would I achieve this?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Hi

Indeed, you cannot redirect a 404 to an external URL from the 404 manager, that's simply something it's not meant to do.

Redirecting to external URLs is done by creating an alias. You can redirect one single URL at a time, or create generic rules, as described in the documentation on this page.
