For some reason when I try and generate a 404 page, I am getting an error 500 and the page doesn't load at all.

All functional URLs work fine, but as soon as I attempt a fake URL, error.

A couple examples
https://xxxx.tv/aboot
https://xxxx.tv/about11

I wasn't able to find anything on this specifically. Hoping you can help!

I'm using Cloudflare for my SSL if that matters at all.

Hi

You should set Joomla Error reporting to "Maximum", this will normally display a more detailed error message.

Looks like it is something with the Theme

Warning: json_decode() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /home/failure/public_html/plugins/system/yootheme/yootheme.php on line 121

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class Joomla\CMS\Document\Renderer\Html\ModulesRenderer in /home/failure/public_html/templates/yootheme/vendor/yootheme/theme/platforms/joomla-modules/src/ModulesRenderer.php on line 41

Going to post on their forums as well.

So their forums are pretty useless (Typical of YooTheme Support), bunch of questions about it, no answers.

Do you know of a setting that will fix this?

Hi

Not really, but as it looks like an error in a module, maybe you can:

- display the sh404SEF error page with a specific menu item selected (in sh404SEF error page settings)
- on that particular menu item, do not assign modules, or try enabling/disabling modules in case it's only a specific module that's causing this.

Other than that, you can disable the custom sh404SEF, by switching away from "Override Joomla error page" in sh404SEF error page configuration. But you won't get the custom sh404SEF error page with similar URLs if you do that.
