Hi

I'm running sh404sef on a site and the error page doesn't display - instead an error 500 displays instead.
I'm assuming this is a conflict with the template

Can you help me with this?

Do you have any advice for troubleshooting this and are you able to take a look at the site?
The site currently uses an IP whitelist in admin tools for administrator

Thanks
Paul

Hi

As in all situations where you have an error, the first thing to do is to set Joomla error reporting to "maximum", this will provide a more detailed message.

Hi

I don't see this on our J 3.7 sites, it's unlikely to be related.
Warning: Parameter 1 to Sh404sefClassRouterInternal::sh404sefErrorPage() expected to be a reference, value given in Unknown on line 0

But I have seen this before, I'll will investigate a bit more what can cause it.

DO you by chance have a local copy of the site, or on another server, and does this happen also on the other server?

Very sorry for wasting your time on this

I thought I'd updated to the latest version I hadn't - I was using 4.7.2.3185
On updating to latest it now displays the 404 page

apologies again for wasting your time on this

Cheers
Paul
