 Hi,
i just purchased sh404SEF, downloaded latest file from your server, and tried to install it on Joomla 3.7.0 with PHP 7.0

First, I get in green:
Message

sh404SEF installed succesfully! Please read the following

...

etc

Then below in orange, I am getting following error message:
Warning

Error loading component: com_sh404sef, Component not found.

I also re-downloaded the componet, uninstalled, and installed again - but same effect.

Please advise what to do, thanks!

Hi

Is this a new site? or one that you updated to 3.7? We have no problem installing on 3.7

I would suggest you uninstall. Then go to Joomla configuration and set "Error reporting" to "Maximum". Then try installing again. There should be some additional error messages showing that could help us understand what's happening on your site.

thanks for the quick reply. It seems it was a caching problem - now it works, without reinstalling!
Cheers

Hi

Ah yes, we have had a few such reports (not with 3.7, with earlier versions). It's weird, as Joomla is not supposed to cache menus this in the backend. Maybe they started caching menus in the backend also some times ago...

Anyway, glad it's solved, that was frightening!
