Hi, when I enable FB open graph tags in sh404sef there is no image tag. Is there a setting so this tag wil use Joomla intro image for example as og:image?

Thank you

Hi

With default settings, image tag should be identified automatically. Make sure that "Automatic image detection" is enabled under the "Social SEO" tab of configuration.
Other things to check:

- purge all Joomla cache
- there is at least one large enough image in the page (200x200px)

If that doesn't help, we'll need a full link to one of the pages showing this issue, together with superadmin credentials to your website. You can create a temporary account, and delete it afterwards, but it must have superuser level.

Thanks and regards

Ok, but our website have some ads and we have one banner bigger than article images. Can I add some tag to my article image so it will be always images for FB or Twitter sharing?

Or maybe your component can recognize article images?

Thank you

Hi

I'm not sure I understand you question. You first said that there was no image in OGP tags. Now, you seem to imply with your new question that there are some, but not the good ones? or you have not tried yet and only suspect this? Please clarify your current status.

As for specifying an image per page, yes, that's easy and described in the documentation on this page.

Or maybe your component can recognize article images?
Well, have you tried, as per my first response?

Rgds

I fixed this with custom php. Your component is just taking first or largest image to og:image, but very often it is not image related with article like intro image or full article image.

Thank you
