 Hi there:

I'm setting up my new site with sh404SEF and what I'm seeing is the URLs all have "index.php" in them where that was not an issue on my old site.

Here's an example:

http://xxxx.org/index.php/exhibits/

should just be

http://xxxx.org/exhibits/

also, the below should not have "index.php" as well.

http://xxxx.org/index.php/local_exhibits/arvada-center-46th-annual-jefferson-foundation-high-school-art-exhibition

Hi

sh404SEF does not handle that part of URLs, it's done by Joomla; Joomla has a setting under its Configuration page, "Use URL rewriting" that you need to enable. Please note that for this to work, you will also need to provide a proper .htaccess file or similar for your web server.

Enabling "Use URL Rewriting" fixed it, thanks!
