Hi

This would happen in 2 situations usually:

1 - your hosting company server setup, or a Joomla extension, is blocking external requests to Google Analytics servers. It's not common, but not rare either.

2 - Most often, this is happening when using the wrong Analytics account to do the Analytics authorization procedure: ie you are already logged in with your usual Google Account, but the Analytics for this site is set up using another Google account.

If #1, redo the authorization procedure, but log out of any Google account before that.
If that does not solve the problem, please get in touch with your hosting company and see what they have in their logs for Google Analytics servers.
