 Hello,

I am suddenly getting the following error and it has disabled the entire website except administration side. Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '['75b1bef' in /home/xxx/xxxx.com/components/com_sh404sef/cache/shCacheContent.ee5eba4200ffec817e415e811d7e4f0b.php on line 159

The error occurred when I was doing redirects on the 404 error requests page. I am running the latest version 4.8.1.3465. Everything was working fine until now. Please provide urgent assistance as I am not sure what to do and I'm trying to get Google to index the website so this came at a bad time.

Thanks.

Tatu

Okay, I've deleted the cache file after backing it up and it seems to have enabled the website to work again. The cache php file was 22KB. I wonder what was the reason for the White Screen of Death? It would be handy to have a 'purge cache' function in the sh404sef configuration somewhere.

Hi

This happens when the server cannot cope with the speed of writing required by the cache. In such case, best is to simply disable the cache (first setting under the Advanced tab of sh404SEF configuration).
