 Hi :)

How can i pull meta name="twitter:image" from intro image or full image from article? (Not the image from content of article)

Thanks!

Hi

This is the normal behavior of sh404SEF, assuming you are fully up to date. Priority is

Manually set image in sh404SEF -> Full image -> Intro image -> auto-detected image.

Please note that:

- In "SEO", Activate SEO management must be On
- In "Social SEO", Enable on all pages must be On
- Automatic image detection mus be On

If this is not enough, please provide a link to a single page where this can be seen, and superadmin credentials to your website. You can create a temporary account, and delete it afterwards, but it must have superuser level.

Thanks and regards

Rgds

Hi

Nope, same result. Maybe just re-save the password in Joomla?

OK, I have looked at your page again, http://www.xxxx.me/politika/637-ekskluzivno-markovic-ne-zeli-da-napusti-studio-tv-vijesti, and I can tell you why the featured image is not picked up: it's because it's not in the page.
Instead of having the featured image inserted in the page normally, you have an image a simple background:

I assume it's a trick fro your template to reduce load in some way, but we can auto-detect the featured image only if it's in the content.

OK, I placed it manually in template:

bla bla php bla bla

$doc->addCustomTag( '<meta name="twitter:image" content="'.$tw_image.'" />' );

Anyway, I appreciate your time! Thanks and please continue with great work!

Hi

Glad you solve it. It would have been pretty hard for a generic plugin like sh404SEF to find them automatically. Closing this ticket now, feel free to open a new one as needed. If you do so, please mention this ticket number in the new one.

If you created any superadmin account for us, be sure to delete or block it now to avoid unnecessary risk in the future.

Be sure to also check out wbAMP, our new Accelerated Mobiles pages plugin for Joomla - the next big thing is SEO, direct from Google themselves!
