 Hello,
we tried several configuration several configuration about Social SEO - Automatic image detection
to set the right image, but somethings doesn't work properly...

On share show often the wrong image

Hi

1 - Are you fully up to date with both Joomla and sh404SEF? version 4.8.1

2 - What are you current settings for image detection?

3 - Please only use one single URL for discussion. Let's use https://www.xxxx.com/en/products/tour-en/colosseum-and-roman-forum-for-families

From what I see, you must use the "Use largest image", as indeed sh404SEF has selected the largest image on this page:

- /images/Affiliati/dormire.jpg is 454 x 302 => 756
- the product image is 480 x 270 => 750

Can you increase just a little the size of the main product image? or decrease the others?

You can also manually set the image in the URL manager (described on this page).

1) yes, sorry we using Installed version: 4.8.1.3465 - write wrong before

2) we tried all 3 option (none, first, largest) - now is setting on First

3) ok, confirm https://www.xxxx.com/en/products/tour-en/colosseum-and-roman-forum-for-families

4) now I'm going to reset to 750 also /images/Affiliati/dormire.jpg
(all the image should be 750, may be this was missing...)

we have more of 300 products... set each image for social in sh404 is a huge job...

It is possible set to use K2 Items default image?

Yes indeed, we have not special provision for K2 to identify an image and use automatic recognition, if user didn't set any specific image.

The automatic recognition works by either first image in the page, or largest.

It is possible set to use K2 Items default image?
No, because then we would have to do something like that for sobipro, for virtuemart, etc Each extension is different.
