Hello,
on our web we use a component to implement Affiliate Marketing (Affiliate Tracker).

This component "add" a code after url into the link to aour web page coming from our partner to recognise sales fee.

So the link are similare to:
https://www.xxxx.com/?atid=1

?atid=1 (or 2 or others - the number is the number of partner account)

how to manage this urls?

even because we notice that Search Console report as duplicate...

We think to manage as Main in duplicate...
but should be better your advice and support.

Hi

You cannot use "Main", as this is caused by a query variable (?atd=1), not a path. Only path are stored in the database (ie /my-page).

Best is simply to add a canonical URL for all the pages that have this

- on the home page, use the "Home meta" button and add the "https://www.xxxx.com/" canonnical
- on other pages, open the URL in the URL manager, and add the corresponding canonical in the canonical field, for instance "https://www.xxxx.com/my-page.html"

Understand that only path are stored...
In case of other errors on Search Console we confirm or set better the canonical...
