Hello,

I am having a problem with sh404SEF and another third party extension: Minitek Wall Pro from Your text to link here.... Everything was working fine until I upgraded to the latest version of sh404SEF (4.8.0.3423). After my upgrade I started getting a 500 internal server error on the following page where I am using Minitek Wall Pro:
[xxxx]
If you click the load more button you can see the component failing and creating a 500 internal server error:
0
Error: 0

Class 'JUtility' not found

As soon as I disable sh404SEF the component works fine. I tried to disable routing and change it to joomla routing but to no avail. I can only get it back to work when disabling sh404SEF completely. Can you please take a look and help me figure out what might cause this? Let me know if you need access to the backend.

Thank you,

Sima

Hi

1 -
another third party extension: Minitek Wall Pro
What kind of extension is that? what does that extension do?

2 - Before anything, please update to the current development version, get it from download area

3 - I have looked at the response to https://xxxx.com/index.php?option=com_minitekwall&view=masonry&widget_id=1&format=raw&page=2&Itemid=581&83e1f07f6e31a4a606ff423ac8b10529=1 and that doesn't look like a problem caused by sh404SEF actually, especially if it was working before.

Are you sure this was not caused rather by upgrading to Joomla 3.6.2?

One thing to check also, is that 301 redirect from non-sef to sef is disabled under the sh404SEF Advanced tab of configuration.

It is a Joomla content display system that allows you to show articles in all types of different layouts using filters and Ajax pagination.

Before anything, please update to the current development version, get it from development versions download area

I just did and the issue remains. I tested turning off

I have looked at the response to https://xxxx.com/index.php?option=com_minitekwall&view=masonry&widget_id=1&format=raw&page=2&Itemid=581&83e1f07f6e31a4a606ff423ac8b10529=1 and that doesn't look like a problem caused by sh404SEF actually, especially if it was working before.

I didn't think about the joomla upgrade, I guess I cannot be 100% sure. The only constant I found while troubleshooting this is that it only works when sh404SEF is disabled.

One thing to check also, is that 301 redirect from non-sef to sef is disabled under the sh404SEF Advanced tab of configuration.

This was disabled.

Hi

Right, but that doesn't mean much, only that the problem appear when sh404SEF is on. When it's on, URLs are not the same, and many things are not the same, so other extensions that don't comply with the Joomla API can break.

Could you please provide us with superadmin credentials to your website. You can create a temporary account, and delete it afterwards, but it must have superuser level.

I can try check a thing or two.

Thanks and regards

Thanks for looking into this. Here is the info:

URL: https://xxxx.com/administrator/index.php?ixuk436tydl635ytkt9z

User: xxxx

Password: xxxx

In case you need access to source files, you can access them by using ProFiles from the component menu.

Hi

Can't access the backend, looks like the security code is not valid, I am redirected to front end.

I apologize, I thought I had disabled the security features. It should work now for sure. Please try again.

Hi

With the backup I was able to find the problem, and this time it's caused by an issue in sh404SEF combined with using Minitek and it's ajax requests. I have made a fix to prevent this situation to occur again, and have uploaded that fixed version to your site (the dev site). You can download this fixed version (to install on another site if needed) from the download area.

Sorry about the trouble,

Rgds

Hi

You're welcome! Closing this ticket now, feel free to open a new one as needed. If you do so, please mention this ticket number in the new one.

If you created any superadmin account for us, be sure to delete or block it now to avoid unnecessary risk in the future.
