 Hi,
I have a problem with the url, I am using the plugin "language domain" to use a different domain for each language, but when you install the component 404SEF, I modify the url of the pages start as follows.

Correct:
domanin.es/
domain.de/
domain.ch/

after installing the component modifies me the url as follows:

domanin.es/es/
domain.de/de/
domain.ch/ch/

How I can remove the code language of the url?

Thanks

Hi

sh404SEF is only compatible with native Joomla multilingual system, as stated in the requirements.

But this only happens in the home pages in other pages do not put the language code.
There is no way to remove it on the homepages?

Hi

Adding the language codes on the home page is actually a requirement of Joomla ML system (otherwise, it doesn't change language when on home page). This cannot be changed.

Is this causing some malfunctions? or do you just mind having those language codes?

Hi,

The client does not want the language codes, that is why he uses domains with geographic extension for each language. This only happens on hope page, in the rest of pages it is as we need. Is there any way to hide the codes on home pages? probably modifying the code?

Hi

I don't think that's feasible, at least not within sh404SEF. It'd be terribly complicated, would require a very long time and serve no purpose, as it would be working against Joomla built-in system. Even if just looking at Joomla language filter plugin, you'll face the same problems. That really is a dead end. You should consider dropping sh404SEF if that's an absolute requirement for you.
