hi,
im creating eshop with joomla 3, vm3 and sh404.

my main language of the web is slovak language.
i got a strange issue with urls characters for sub-categories. they shows special characters in url like č, š, é and others.
they are in sh404 configuration - Character replacements list. but it seems it dont work. but its strange because it do only for sub-categories.
for example i have this url: http://xxxx.sk/hudiny2/elektronicke-stavebnice/hodiny-a-c%CC%8Casovac%CC%8Ce.html

joomla configurations - sef on, file stuffix on. sh404 on, language filter - on
links was created with standard joomla menu system - vm

i need to remove these characters and replace them as for all links..

ok.. meantime i found that its a virtuemart issue.. i need to add line of code to vm settings file..
anyway sh404 should rewrite the url by characters replace list. or no?

Not if VM changes them first. If VM changes them first to "hodiny-a-c%CC%8Casovac%CC%8Ce.html", then the characters on the replacement list are not in the URL anymore, and we can't replace them.

they shows special characters in url like č, š, é and others.

That's not really a problem any more.
