After the update all my links in the K2 component are screwed up. So, a k2 category for basketball was http://xxxx.com/basketball, and an item in that category would be http://xxxx.com/basketball/125-college-basketball-recruiting-in-2016-important-topics-to-cover-on-your-college-visit . However now, there is no http://xxxx.com/basketball and the article is located at http://xxxx.com/item/125-college-basketball-recruiting-in-2016-important-topics-to-cover-on-your-college-visit . Can I please get some assistance as soon as possible to help correct this issue? Thank you in advance.

I'm not sure which update you are talking about. If this is about latest sh404SEF, this has nothing to do with that.
The update that caused the problem was K2 update, when you updated to K2 V 2.7 or higher.
K2 has always provided support for sh404SEF (ie it's not sh404SEF that provides support for K2).
Before V 2.7, the sh404SEF plugin was part of the main download of K2. On version 2.7, they made it a separate download. So you have to get that plugin from them. Please note also that for further tech support for anything related to sh404SEF+K2, you should talk to them, as they are the ones providing the plugin.
