Hello weeblr,

I want to resolve the duplicate content problem on my page only. Is it possible to limit sh404 to this specific use?

I just want to know, as soon as I enable the extension, if it takes action in aspects that I maybe don't want to change (or not yet).

Hi

sh404SEF will create/manage all your URLs, so yes, things might change that you do not want to change. It is usually a matter of configuring URL structure in sh404SEF to get back to what you had, but it is suggested that the initial setup is done on a staging copy of your site.

Managing duplicate content in sh404SEF is basically done entirely automatically by only and always creating a single link to a single piece of content, regardless of how many non-sef URLs Joomla/extensions create.
